Shipping Information

  • Ground Shipments: Orders that ship using basic ground shipping will leave the warehouse in one to four business days and transit time to you will be one to fourteen business days depending on your location.
  • Freight Shipments: Orders that ship freight (large or heavy items, i.e. one-piece toilets, bathtubs, vanities) will usually leave the warehouse in one to four business days. Transit time after being picked up by the carrier can be as little as one day or up to fourteen business days depending on your location. Freight shipments are curbside delivery only.

    Tracking is emailed automatically the morning after your shipment is picked up by the carrier.

Home Perfect must collect sales tax for orders shipping to the following States :

  • Free freight is not available for unconventional delivery situations such as extremely rural areas, areas requiring ferry services, or any other circumstance that causes significant additional fees for freight delivery. At HomePerfect.com we put forth our best effort to ensure that shipping costs are correctly calculated at the time you place your order; however, under some circumstances it is not possible to do so. We reserve the right to notify you after the order has been placed of any additional shipping or handling charges necessary to deliver your order. Please note that these additional charges generally occur when shipping an item via freight. If notified of any additional charges, you have the right to cancel or make any necessary changes to your order.

    Many shipments are too large, too heavy, or too fragile to be shipped via ground service and so they must be shipped by an LTL freight carrier. HomePerfect.com is not liable for damages that occur during shipment. Upon delivery, the driver will provide a delivery receipt to be signed by the customer, as acknowledgement that the goods have arrived in acceptable condition. Please inspect goods, even if packaging is in good condition. Any problems, such as damages or shortages, MUST be noted on the receipt. No claims can be made without this information and HomePerfect.com will not be held responsible for any discrepancies not specified with the carrier at time of delivery.

    Carriers will contact customers before delivery. If the carrier is unable to reach the consignee with information provided (i.e. phone numbers, etc) within a 1-3 business day(s), storage fees begin to accrue at $75 a day. If no contact is made within five days, the product will be re-routed back to HomePerfect.com. Any storage fees, return freight costs, and restock fees will apply and be withheld on any refunds to be made for the returned product.

Missing Shipments
If your shipment is lost we will contact the carrier to trace the shipment and once they confirm the shipment cannot be found we can send replacements.

Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Territories, and all international shipments are on a per order basis. No free shipping is available outside of the 48 contiguous U.S. states and DC. Please call for quotes and information. 888-850- 3999

House Truck Deliveries:

Orders that ship house truck will be coordinated between Home Perfect, the warehouse and the customer. House truck deliveries will be scheduled on a specific date prior to delivery (Monday through Friday) and have a window of delivery time of 7-5 EST. We can request the delivery driver contact you a half hour prior to when delivery will be made. House truck deliveries are curbside delivery only. The customer is responsible for full inspection and reporting any damage or visible defect within 1 business day of delivery.

Backorders, Damages, Defects, Missing Parts, Wrong Items

Backorders: All orders are charged in full at the time of purchase and if an item is out of stock a backorder notice is sent the same day to the email used to place the order. Nearly every backordered item comes into stock and ships out in one to four weeks but we do encourage calling ahead to find out the best time frame to expect. Periodic updates will be provided until your order ships.

For freight, 18-wheeler deliveries, all items must be inspected completely before you sign for them. Once you sign for and accept the material, no damage claim can be filed. You will need to note the delivery ticket if there is damage and refuse at the time of delivery. Please take pictures of the damaged material. Please call us immediately to advise of your refusing the damage material so that we may file a claim on our end and work on getting a replacement or refund processed for you.

For ground shipments (UPS, FedEx, et al), all damages must be reported within two business days after delivery. We cannot guarantee replacements or any credit for any damages reported more than two business days after delivery. Take the best photos of the damage you can. We will need two or three photos to process damage claims.

Defects: We know defects are not always visible and will take each situation on a case by case basis to find the best possible resolution. There is no time limit to report a defect and manufacturers often are perfectly willing to help, just as we are. Please let us know if you believe your item has a defect or a problem that is not from normal wear and tear.

Missing Parts: If you have parts missing from your order we are happy to assist by sending the parts or finding information about the parts that are supposed to be included, or not, and making sure your order is complete.

Wrong Items: If you receive the wrong item please let us know quickly so we can get the right thing to you. We’ll need a photo of the item and the labels to show the supplier they sent the wrong thing.



Home Perfect is not responsible for any costs associated with the installation or use of any items we sell. We do not offer labor credit or any reparative credit due to any issue with items purchased on our site.

Cancellations

Due to the urgent nature of a cancellation and the speedy nature of our shipping we must ask customers to call and request a cancellation. An order is not canceled until we send the email confirmation and an order cannot be refunded until we have confirmed the cancellation with our supplier. Call us at 888-850-3999, option 3, for cancellations during our customer service hours, Monday through Friday from 9-5 EST. Our team will also be happy to assist you in finding an alternate item so be sure to mention if you’ll be needing something else. We will issue your refund immediately after we have confirmed your cancellation with the appropriate supplier. If we cannot catch a cancellation before it ships it will be considered a return, and subject to our standard return policy of a 15% restocking fee and your being responsible for inbound freight and shipping costs. Items priced over $1,000 will incur a 15% cancellation fee.


Return Policy

Standard Returns: Returns must be sent back within thirty days after you receive an item. For all approved returns, 85% of your purchase price will be refunded. In order to receive credit, returned items must be in un-used, not installed condition and inside original packaging that is not damaged or defaced. You, the customer, are responsible for inbound shipping, either FedEx, UPS, or freight. If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please let us know as it will not be a standard return and you will not pay any fees. Items that have been opened may not be eligible for return if the packaging cannot be resealed. Please do not return damaged items.

So to point out the most important return standards we must follow:

  • You will be refunded 85% of your purchase price.
  • Returns must be made within 30 days of receiving an item.
  • Items must be like they are new. Not installed, unused, and in the original undamaged packaging.
  • You are responsible for inbound shipping - FedEx, UPS, or freight.

All returns are at the customers’ risk

Suppliers will not credit us for items that come back damaged. We recommend all returns be sent with UPS or FedEx so you can track your package and you can choose an insurance option to ensure credit for your item should the carrier damage it while in their possession


Home Perfect uses stock merchandising photos to represent items for sale and we make every effort to represent items as close to reality as available. Please read descriptions and watch the model number you are ordering to ensure it is correct. You can refer to manufacturer sites or call us if you have any questions. 888-850-3999, option 2. Returns for items purchased based on the photo shown will be considered standard returns. If our written description is incorrect we will cover your return. The only remedy for an inaccurate description is to return the item in unused condition.

We will refund your order as quickly as possible but please allow up to 30 days for your order to reach the supplier and for the supplier to inform us of your return. Once we are informed of your return we will immediately issue your refund.
