I purchased this to replace a Whirlpool 3 stage undercabinet filter that they changed their design and the filters are now rare and cost 3x as much. Instead of replacing the unit with their current verison, I tried this. I like the idea of ONE filter, and having better filtration.
The installation went fine, just over an hour. Because I was replacing another system, it was really easy, just swapping out line for line. The longest part was installing a receptacle under there (dropped to the basement and tapped in there, ground fault of course).
I purchased the nickel one to go along with my kitchen decor. It matches perfectly, and actually is designed more like my faucet!
Hopefully this will give me years of life. I also purchased 5 years of filters!
