I was doing a complete bathroom remodel and was specifically looking for a quality toilet. My contractor kept pushing the Kohler toilet, saying he installs those the most, but I really wanted a quality and efficient toilet. I really wanted one that was a better water efficient than my old 1.6 gpf toilet and one that would actually do a good job of flushing waste. And because I hate cleaning toilets, I went with this sanagloss finish. I am so happy I decided to go with it. It's been about 2 months and nothing has stuck to the bowl of the toilet once. I have not yet had to clean it (only the seat for sanitation reasons). The design is elegant, yet simple. It does also have a unique lever on the left side of it. The lever points down, and requires flushing by pulling the lever towards you, counter-clockwise. It's different, but I really like it. My contractor said he didn't have any issues installing it either. I would highly recommend this toilet to anyone.

I was debating to buy Toto or American Standard toilet. I read reviews and there were a lot comparing Toto to American Standard Champion 3. Most were saying these two are comparable. Well, I first bought American Standard because it was not that pricy. American Standard has a good flushing system, but it make a very loud sound when flushes and get a lot of algue, so requires quite of maintenance. Then for my next bathroom I bought Toto with sanagloss. I have had it for about one month so far, and the two are not comparable at all. I did not need to clean the Toto at all, and it flushes as well as the American Standard, but it is not as loud.
It is expensive though, I had to pay almost twice the price I paid for American Standard, but in a long term I think it is worth it.
